FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What's the fastest way to get a price?
Start an Instant Estimate: pick the service, describe the tree and how a truck reaches it, then leave your details. You'll get a working range right away, and we follow up to confirm the plan.
Are you licensed and insured in Virginia?
Yes. We carry the licensing, liability, and workers' compensation coverage expected for professional tree work in Virginia, and we'll email certificates the same day you ask.
How fast can you respond after a storm?
Our emergency line runs 24/7. After a tropical system pushes up the James, a summer derecho, or a Mid-Atlantic ice storm, trees on homes and blocked driveways get triaged ahead of routine cleanup.
Do you haul off the debris?
On nearly every job, yes. Want to keep firewood rounds or a load of chips for the beds? Just tell us when we confirm the estimate and we'll leave it.
Can you work in tight historic districts like The Fan and Church Hill?
All the time. Alley access, shared walls, cobblestone streets, and century-old trees over close-set rowhouses are everyday work — we plan rigging and access before a boot hits the property.
Can you take down a big tree near my house?
Yes. Whether it's a towering tulip poplar or a spreading heritage oak, we rig large trees down in sections so nothing free-falls onto the roof, the fence, or the neighbor's yard.
Which areas do you serve?
Metro Richmond — the city plus Henrico, Chesterfield, and Hanover, from Short Pump and Glen Allen down through Midlothian, Chester, and out to Petersburg.
Do you work with HOAs and commercial properties?
Yes. HOAs, office parks, historic properties, and multi-family communities get scheduled maintenance, clean documentation, and priority dispatch when a storm rolls through.
